For your blog do you basically use Windows or Mac, laptop, desktop, pad, or phone?
Why do I need to fit into such a limited box? lol. I use neither Windows nor Mac. I use Linux. Ubuntu to be exact. I recently bought a Windows 8 laptop and cannot stand the operating system which pushed my back into the wonderful land of Linux. I find Mac overpriced for what they offer. They aren’t much better than Windows if at all. They look cool and make you look cooler using it. That’s about it.
I also use an Android tablet to read blogs but all my writing is done on an Ubuntu laptop. I need a physical keyboard.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
It varied so much. When I was a child I wanted to be a farmer like my dad. Then at one point an electrician. Then a storm chaser. Now I have no idea what I want to do. But writing seems like an option.
Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
I grew up in a very VERY small town in the middle of Illinois called St. Elmo with a population of under 1000. At the time I liked it. I didn’t know anything else. Life in such a small town is very secluded and I didn’t know what was out there. My parents divorced when I was seven and I moved with my mom to a city of 64,000. It was such a culture shock. Now, I could never imagine living is a small town.
How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I would say I would be the same age. My life is crazy and hectic. I’m in the middle of trying to find out what I want to do. I;m trying to get my life started and I am working at it constantly. I feel like I’m right where someone in their mid-20’s should be.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for the ability to apply for a new job. I am suffocating at my current job so I’m hoping to move on soon.
